The George Hyrum Lovell family. George was a brother to my Grandfather James William Lovell.

I have been lucky to be able to know all the children in this family. They are wonderful people and I am glade to call them family.

My father lost both his mother and his father when he was young and he had to make it on his own. Georges family always looked after Dad. He always talked very highly of them.

Elizabeth R Hoggan

We have been blessed with some good family members that have taken time to collect and compile story and history and pictures and etc. One of these people is Elizabeth R Hoggan. As she started one of these folders she wrote.

To my beloved kinsfolk
I dedicate these pages.
May it inspire you to emulate
The life of our parents.
Compiled by Elizabeth R. Hoggan from information furnished by various members of the family as it is recorded in their family records

We would like to thank her for all her fine Work. She is no longer with us but she has left us a lot of thing that will have a great influence on many Life's.

Joseph Hyrum Lovell

Sometimes it's fun to read about your ancestors. Elizabeth R. Hoggan has done a wonderful job of publishing histories of several of our ancestors. I would like to share the history.

John Lovell and Ann Parsons

This is a history of John Lovell and his first wife, Ann Parsons.

John Lovell

John Lovell is my second Great-Grandfather. He immigrated from England to Canada in 1835. John lived and worked with his uncles in Ontario, Canada for several years. While working there a Mormon missionary named John Taylor taught John about this new religion. Eventually John joined the LDS church and joined the saints in Nauvoo, Il. John moved west with the saints and settled in Oak City, UT where he died in 1881.

I have extensive research and histories on John Lovell. This is a photograph of him. I hope to put more information here in the future.
